In the Studio of the web app, you can easily check your files. In order to make your submission of files a little easier, the Studio checks your files at different points in time during the process. For examples:
- Are all pages filled?
- Is the resolutions of the images sufficient?
- Are any files scaled?
- Is there any fonts missing in your file?
Things you need to check yourself
We want to make the process as easy as possible but there are just a few things we can't automatically check. Therefore, you should always check that your file is correct. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Important elements should not be too close to the edge.
- Is the format supplied correctly?
- Is there sufficient bleed in my file?
- Is the division of the folders correct?
- Are the pages in the right position and orientation?
- Other points of attention such as spelling and grammar

Frequently asked questions
Why is the Studio not accessible?
In some cases, you may not be able to access certain features in the Studio. In such situations, you will see file checkers that indicate unresolved issues. These need to be resolved before you can proceed.
The studio is not accessible when:
- If there are missing fonts in your file.
- If the file contains long file paths.
- If there is an additional file format in your submission that we cannot handle manually.
- The Studio is not set up for the product.
Why is my product not displayed in the desired quality?
The product is displayed in the preview at a resolution suitable for online viewing. Although the Studio can handle files with a higher resolution, it is optimized for faster loading times, which may affect the displayed quality.
What does this warning mean in the Studio?
This page contains images with a low resolution
The long-term recommendation is to use images with a resolution of at least 150 DPI. We advise using a minimum resolution of 150 DPI for large format printing, 300 DPI for small format printing. If you receive this warning, it means that the resolution of your images is insufficient for printing, which may affect the final print quality.
Bleed not added
Although the long-term recommendation is to add bleed, this is not automatically applied to the original design. The result may differ from what you see on screen. Therefore, we recommend adding bleed to your design before uploading it to the studio.
The dimensions of your file do not match the order
This message indicates that the delivered format is larger or smaller than the specified dimensions. You can adjust the dimensions of your print by contacting us. If the dimensions are not adjusted, the message will remain visible.
Empty page
If the studio indicates an "empty page," it means that the page appears blank in the preview. Try opening the page in a fixed-layout program like "Adobe PDF" to see if the page content is displayed correctly. If not, please contact us.
Remove hidden layers fix
Hidden layers in your file may cause the file to be larger. The Studio will reject files that contain hidden layers to ensure smoother processing.
Colors converted to CMYK, but spot colors are used
The studio converts standard colors to CMYK. However, if spot colors are used, they will not be converted correctly. This may result in incorrect color representation in the final print.
